Barr Street Foundation Offers Personalized Brick Pavers

The Barr Street High School Foundation, Inc. (BSHSf) recently unveiled The Tiger, an illuminating stainless steel replica of the Barr Street High School golden tiger mascot. The artwork, crafted by the renowned artist, Bob Doster of Backstreet Studio, Lancaster, SC stands on the front lawn of the Lancaster County Community Center as a reminder of our steadfast strength, loyalty and commitment to excellence upon which our community was built. The community center is located at 508 East Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC.

The BSHSF honors our history and focuses on the future legacy — our children in the Lancaster County School District (LCSD). Over the past 7 years, the BSHSF has offered over $14,000.00 in scholarships to graduating seniors in our county. To continue these efforts, the foundation is kicking-off a personalized brick paver fundraising campaign to Pave-The-Way for future scholarships to deserving high school seniors.

Attention! Attention! All former students of Lancaster Training, Barr Street High and Barr Street Middle Schools purchase your personalized brick paver now. Your permanent marker will be added to the walkway leading from The Tiger. We are asking all students, athletes, cheerleaders, barrettes, tigerettes, cosmetologists, faculty, bus drivers, band, nhs, brick masonry, carpenters, mechanical drawing and social club members to choose your logo from a selection of 32 clip arts. Add your mark to this walkway!
