Matthew Barr

Matthew is a 2025 Graduate of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, South Carolina and will be attending Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina.

About the Barr Street High School Foundation

The Barr Street High School Foundation, Inc. was formed in 2011 with the mission to perpetuate the historical legacy, educational traditions and cultural heritage of Lancaster Training School and Barr Street High School. For the community the Foundation serves as a reminder of a school that served its students from 1923 to 1970 with great pride.

The nonprofit organization, through its donors, has now awarded scholarships to graduating seniors in the Lancaster School District for five consecutive years.
